Time flies, huh? When I was hunting for a blog idea for today it hit me. I’ve been blogging here for six whole months already! I can’t believe it’s been so long! And for the most part, I’ve been pretty regular with posting three days a week.
First off, I want to thank the people who encouraged me to start this writing here. The Hubs, my cousin Susan, and my good friend from SparkPeople R (who inspired the name “A Measured Life”). All of you knew that once I took the first step to start, I’d follow through. The first step is always the hardest, right? I was terrified. Would anyone read? Does anyone give a crap what I have to say? Turns out they knew something I didn’t! Sure, lots of people read my far more personal blog on SparkPeople, but A Measured Life is less about me and more about healthy living, and there are a lot of blogs out there like mine. But I’m getting likes and readers and comments and requests for specific topics (notably, MORE BINGLEY) so I guess I’m doing A-OK!
Here’s a quick recap of my first half-year:

In February I had my first guest post about running by my friend Christina S.!
In March I told you all about my love of kettlebells.
May was all about frugality with the introduction of Frugal May Days!
June helped me design my own Intermediate Kettlebell Workout!
