Weekly Menu: September 24 – 30, 2017

I’m trying something super different this week, folks! Pork shoulder is 79c/lb this week so I wanted to do something totally different. I’m going to attempt to make Haitian Pork Griot with Piliz (spicy cabbage pickle) as my meal prep this week. I’m also going to prebake some sweet potato with Denver omelette inside. I’m really excited about the polenta bowls and the falafel tarts too. Freezer soup just means I’m going to scrounge meat scraps and frozen stock out of my freezer and make something up! It’s time for a clean out anyway.

What does your menu look like this week? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m doing one of my favorite soups now that the weather is cooling-Gumbo! I make my stock from frozen rotisserie chicken leftovers. Add frozen okra, smoked chicken sausage etc. It’s cheap and delicious!
