Hey everybody! I hope you don’t mind that I took a few days off this week. I’ve been mentally working on my 2017 game plan for AML and just needed a mental break from all the holiday craziness. Please vote in my poll as to what you’d like to see most from AML in 2017!
For Christmas this year I got an amazing Staub French oven (a French oven is a Dutch oven that is enameled on the inside) which I plan to use on Monday. A French recipe for my French oven! I’m making a lot of really warm, comforting food as it’s starting to really get chilly in the Philadelphia area. On New Year’s Day we’re headed to Longwood Gardens to view the Christmas display, which is a yearly tradition for us. And Saturday night I’ve got an event so The Hubs will have to fend for himself.
What does your menu look like this week? Let me know in the comments!
Also, it’s been a fun year here at AML! A lot has happened (magazine article, first 5k, etc) and I thought you might enjoy seeing the list my most viewed posts this year.
- Copycat Sargento Balanced Breaks – This post is my most popular of ALL TIME! I guess lots of people like cheese, nuts and fruit as a snack. 😉
- AML Tried Kinesiology Tape for Extensor Tendonitis – Part I – I’m not sure I ever wrote a part 2 for this blog, ha! Either way whatever I’m doing is keeping the tendonitis at bay.
- Review: Fitness Blender’s Brutal Abs Workout – This is still a great workout, give it a shot!
- So This Happened… – In which I talk about the process of having my first ever professional photo shoot for Dr. Oz The Good Life Magazine.
37 Calorie Brownies – Fantastic or Failure? – Failure people, failure. Chalk this one up to ‘if it’s too good to be true it probably is’.
I hope you all enjoy your New Year’s Eve festivities and I’ll be seeing you in 2017!
