Weekly Menu: October 30 – November 5, 2016

Hey everybody! It’s Clean Out The Fridge Week at A Measured Life. It’s also apparently soup week, which is funny because it’s currently 77 degrees in the Philadelphia area. Not normal for October 30th! I’ve just really been craving hearty soups as the temperature has dropped.

Anyhoo, I’ve gotten to the point where I’m running out of room in my meat freezer, so I didn’t purchase any meat this week (okay, except for frozen shrimp, which was on sale) and I plan on using up what I’ve got the best I can before Thanksgiving.

For the record, it’s not bacon made of hummus, it’s hummus AND bacon. I forgot the comma and I can’t be bothered to redo it. Sorry, not sorry. 😉

What does your menu look like this week?

  1. Yes, it got warm again up here as well, but hopefully, it won’t last too long! I’m going to make either chicken tetrazzini or another sort of casserole one night, and I’m making a huge pot of vegetarian vegetable soup, but that’s for the craft show this weekend!
